The Tongzhou Big Data Platform, through its data collection framework, captures in real time the viewing behavior, service data, program data, user data, and operational metrics of IP‑based two-way network terminals—including middleware STBs, smart STBs, smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, and more—transferring this data to cloud storage. The platform then performs ETL processes, analytical processing, and storage, before applying and visualizing the resulting insights.
Building on Hadoop‑based distributed computing and storage technologies, Spark’s parallel processing capabilities, and algorithms from Mahout, R, and other frameworks, we have developed a suite of big‑data platforms tailored to the needs and characteristics of telecom operators. Leveraging our in‑house data‑processing techniques and algorithms, these platforms deliver sub‑second response times for traditional BI workloads, support horizontal scaling of data volumes, and enable advanced analytics—such as user‑profile modeling based on viewing behavior, feature‑driven user segmentation, habit‑pattern modeling, and business‑performance forecasting—to power intelligent operations across operator services.
